We have had a lovely holiday based here in Opal Cottage. Very Comfortable. It's two years since we last came. We have visited some places which we didn't last time. We ate at the Grapes on Wednesday evening. The food was excellent. Everywhere we have eaten out has been very good. We hope to come again. Thank you.

We have really enjoyed staying here in these wonderful surroundings. Very warm welcome. The cottage was excellent and we enjoyed using the Pod. The extremely good weather was a bonus!

in Opal Cottage, could not wish for more. Everything you need. First time in Yorkshire, although mixed weather it has not stopped us getting out and about everyday. Enjoyed Robin Hood Bay for its old traditional feel, the RSPB at Bempton was interesting although we are not dedicated bird watchers. We found Sandsend Bay - good rock pools etc when tide is out - also at Bempton we saw puffins. Thank you Heather and Richard for your hospitality - we will hope to return in the future.

Topaz has been the best holiday cottage we have stayed in, the attention to detail was amazing, a home from home! Richard & Heather were so welcoming and accommodating to make our stay happy and enjoyable - thank you very much!
The gardens here are amazing so pleasant to sit in and the surrounding countryside is stunning. Nick & I have already booked a return visit in August and we will look forward to seeing you both again.
